Pretty sure it's true! (y)

There used to be a noticeboard, by where you parked; and I seem to remember an old road that rises from it, on the far side.... Too many years ago, now, though....

used to buy this all the time 2o years ago to tidy up non existant wheel arches on fords and austin montenegroes
you could then build up gob at the back to make it look like it had one then give it a quick paint with the ole tyre black
looked mint they did
also was available in chrome and red
red was good for jazzing up escort mk3 bumpers into an xr3 lookylikey

Lol seriously unwanted present!

First time I ever went over 100mph was in a Montego GTI!

According to 'How many left' there are only 2 on Britain's roads now!
The rest rusted away years ago!
(y)

(
The car was owned by a non smoker so smells faintly of a cross between old car and cat ****, but is not strong and fairly inoffensive, when taken in context with the rest of the vehicle. )

:ROFLMAO:

Not done much,

Yeah ive had afew, didnt keep em long, (gear sticks where like a spoon in jam iirc) :D

ihad a Mint Meastro, back in 92. they was the bells and whistles back then,
the thing used to talk, it bugged the S7it out of me ,,so that was was the 1st mod...ripped the wiring out, :D

not done much,
today its had rear springs changed, its now sat on HGT rear springs,
new front springs,. stainless coated ones hopefuly they wont rust,

New motor is on the cards soon, perhaps oct or november, mk3 punto or imight go back to an Alfa. not sure which yet,
punto is going away for the winter, imight bring it back out next summer,

spent to much on it now to sell it on, it might be worth something with another 10 years on it, :)

the Mk2 forum will end up like the classic panda forum is currently.....

sadly i suspect the mk2s will go the way of the mk1 most being scrapped as they get too old and worthless to sell on the difference being that the Mk1 had the cabrio and the GT to keep at least a few on the road

Unfortunately, I have to say its wishful thinking. A mk2 will continue to lose its value year after year, they dont hold their value whatsoever. What you spend on it you'll never get back. Its how it is and i certainly dont think many would like to buy a 15+ year old car that subject to rust eventually or engine to drop out :D

Hey! I bought my car and it was nearly about to turn 14... so far she has been okay... (must say engine mount is cracked *please don't fall out*) (y)

only very slightly but yes... it is last resort driving only! new mount ordered and will be changed when it goes for service!

mind you, i drove with a cracked engine mount and engine never fell out :D i knew i was scrapping it anyway so never bothered

haha! when i bought the car back in December it had a tiny clunk when you put the car into gear. it was intermitent and just assumed gearbox needed fresh oil but have been short on cash. recently the clunk has got much worse so planned on doing gearbox, had an issue with the exhaust and they pointed out the cracked mount whilst under the car... oh that will explain a lot then!

Been busy, :)
last 3 day's full valet. bodywork clay 'bar'd.
plenty wax/polish/ sealant.

then to top it off.,parked it at asda's..came back to be greeted with a scratch down full length of passenger side, :bang:
iwouidnt mind but iparked it right at the back of the car park,

ah well its going in body shop after the hol's to be sorted, :bang:

ive found the punto's replacement, (alfa -mito) just got to save up a bit more, :D
