iwouidnt mind but iparked it right at the back of the car park,

ah well its going in body shop after the hol's to be sorted, :bang:

ive found the punto's replacement, (alfa -mito) just got to save up a bit more, :D

iagree mate, im narked but nowt ican do about it, :(

my guess is some swamp donkey carrying heavy shopping basket as gone down side of it,

220 notes to have sorted, this is including having front and rear bumper sprayed too, they is fade'd like all yellow plastic does.

shame realy other than that these yellow things couid be mint'ed up to get the factory fresh look, this is what im after with this old mk2'a but its going to cost coin,

iwill get it done once iget the mito, iwill have more time to pull it to bits again then ..it will pass me time on over the winter month's. :)

That interior shares a lot in common with a Punto Evo, I used to love the mito and the look but I have gone off it, not sure why but no matter what anyone thinks the mito holds its value much better than anything from the fiat stable

correct, ;)
ithink they is just a hodge-podge of punto and corsa bits thrown into a much sharper looking tin,
mrs o/h wants a new corsa, she drives abrandnew one, its not hers mind.. but she likes them,

im not a fan of poxhall corsa much, mito looks slightly better,:)

Sorry to hear about the car mate people have no respect anymore. ;)

ah well, its only a punto i'd be more peeved if it was an expensive car, but then again i own an expensive car and i tend to park in the overflow car park which hardly anyone uses, i just hate how people have no care for other peoples property :( as i say, if it was their car they'd be down your throat like a ton of bricks :bang: ah well chin up old fella ;)

your welcome to your opinions,
but idont think they look too bad.

idont give a flying fluck what people thinks they looks like,
it will be me driving it not them :p

Why did the Alfa drive cross the road?

To pick up the bits he lost yesterday.

Sorry not sorry :D:D:)

More jobs done,

* scratch removed that the 'Swamp donkey did, 75 quid spent,
chap did a good job,

over the past few day's the Dreaded 'heater gurgle on startup was back sooo
ithought feck it enough is enough, got the airline out, found a Bmx inertube flung on roof of the old 'merc in garage..so ichopped the valve part off, drilled ahole in a 8valve punto rad cap and welded it in, pffft big fail, back to the drawing board, :(

And behold/ ispied a 1.9D punto rad cap,. these have hole in already, differnt expansion system to petrols see, so just plug valve in there and secure it,
job done.

plumbed it in and booted up the old'e compressor, 10secounds later..pssssssssssssssssst. leak found, :D
now this basid as took me months to find, all it was it clip on rad pipe wasnt pushed far enough forward to mingy white coloured expansion bottle on rad,.
ive had it in original place all along going off,the marks..bites on pipe

its held under preasure now so thats sorted., no more gurgles,

......................................................................................

then ithought sod it,iwill get the door trims out of storage off the HGT ibroke,
mrs likes the nets they have, so started to de-ming them,
they didnt last 5 mins, before they fell to bits, the material bubbles and starts falling off when they is wet...lesson learnt dont soak punto door cards, :D

As they say, two steps forward 3 steps back, :(

sorted the gurgle noise and then noticed after rechecking the rad wasnt free flowing, anyhow off with the rad and i un uncrimped the side end's to take alook inside, 3 of the internal cores was solid, previous owners rad weld/or a rusty water rail..as the cause ..
ah well ..no point messing with old Tat.

looked on ebay 25- 30 secound hand, 70ish at a factors, did somereasearch and had a quick google.. found one on my doorstep near enough straight from the factory.. 18quid and 33p trade price brandnew, frig the secound hand parts its hardly worth it,

ive replaced the trims on the bumpers too, 3 quid odd a section, an easy clip on part and it makes these puntos look factory fresh, :)

Not much to update,

today ive paid towards- somemore holes in the road, pffft, road tax,
its gone up almost 10quid for these old sportings,

ive gave it good hotwash and a good wipe over, the winter ming is coming early, (where as the summer gone,?) :(
