I have it for 10 years. Love it!
I had my mk2b from 2008 to 2016, so not as long as you, but it served me very well. I did about 80,000 miles in that time and went the length and breath of the country. In some respects I wish I had kept it, mainly because shortly after I sold it, it disappeared and presumed either crashed or scrapped, When I had kept it in immaculate condition
