Following on from my accident (own fault) in my GP I got my Stilo fully comp paid £1500 up front for the year as a 19 year old with zero NCB. Kept it off the road the following year but my insurance renewal dropped to 750 for that year if I did renew it. This past year cost me roughly the same but I had to shop around as my previous insurers wanted a bit more than the previous yearWhen my renewal comes up in a month I'm looking at about 300-350

Why is mine coming back so high then?![]()
A number of reasons but as you're a young first time driver you're seen as a higher risk to someone with years of experience. You should try adding your parents as named drivers to see if that reduces the price? Doing it the opposite way is illegal.
Yeah guess i will have to keep looking:bang:
Have you tried getting quotes from comparison websites?

Might be worth looking at how your postcode falls on here http://www.motorcarinsuranceuk.co.uk/post-code-ratings.php
Its coming back at B so that must be good![]()
Stupid question but why did you go and buy a car without getting a insurance quote?
