right decided to do a full engine rebuild if the cylinders are messed up very angry paid 250 is for this engine :bang:

right got to work today striping head but only got the head extention of due to the fact i found a weird type of head bolts (its like a torx but its a spline)
in the subject on head bolts is there a arp equivilent for F.I.R.E engines ?
oh and i put some atf down the cylinders and the sound reduced so this means it must be the cylinders that the ugly sound comes from so were geting some were i suppose ile upload pictures tomorow if i get the right tool

That has everything you need . For that price is a bargain really!

I manage to use the torqx bit to take the head off, but you are right they are spline.

thank you already spent 40 on tools today for getting head of but i got long torx sets lol i buy this or the ones from halfords i need to get head of within a week to get it to cool for a potential rebore and balance before it closes lol

you will need "ribes" or you will end up napping the torx's

yeh i buy some tomorrow in halfors i think i saw some this morning when i was there but i didn't realize that were ribes until i got the extension of i've not evan attempted to get head bolts of just incase i nakard up the heads

Thinking to myself if i'm rebuilding engine what about a turbo conversion i've got a t15 what do you guys think and how shall i go about lowering compression ratio?

I think i may strip down the turbo tomorrow night and see if i need to rebuild that and i wonder how much power i can get out of a 1.2 16v lol

i think that is easily possible, my old cinq 1.1 8v turbo was about 130bhp and there was still quite alot of stuff that could have been done to it - it still had a completely stock head and cam at the time for example

well hears the plan eather piggy back or megasquert lightend botum end and balenced would like to get engine out and on a engine stand may need a new sump new manifold
including intake reducing lenth of the runners for more torque and 6 speed gearbox
this is going to take me quite a while lol also bigger brakes and maby roll cage

you don't want a 6speed on a turbo really mate, 5 speed is much better suited.

oh yeh you wont stop needing to change gears lol will the cinq gearbox be ok with power ?

the sei turbo i have now and my old cinq turbo had the original box, it will be fine. The upgrade you will prob end up needing is an uprated clutch, 1.4 16v clutch and flywheel is bolt on upgrade, mine was ordered as a stilo clutch and flywheel but i suppose you could get one from any modern 1.4 16v fiat will work, (grande, panda, 500 etc)

won't the modern ones be dual mass ? also turbo wont open up the bolts are seized up but the lay feels ok i suppose i've come up with a plan to lighten the rear end the plan is to cut the rear boot floor out and replace it with carbon fiber sheet i will have to look into that too and also considering to make my own carbon fiber wings and bonet

perhaps thats why i was told to get a stilo one.. slightly older but i'm not sure tbh. I know the stilo 1.4 16v one is bolt on replacement though..
