oh what a day to cut a long story short the new engine may be sized i'm going to get it out in a min for closer inspection but i binds on something but still rotates

the ecu came today the fuel pump primes and the immo light goes off


but its not all good news the engine worries me it turns but it takes a bit of force (the starter motor cant turn it) and it sounds bad never started it and its been out of a car for 6 weeks and the guy that i got it of said it was fine and he has a 100% rating on ebay:bang:

I used a block for my 1242 which had been standing in a garage for months with water in the cylinders which had seized a little. It was fine

Is it noisy as there is no oil circulating in there ?

im going to get some wd40 into cylinders may be a cause tho altho in the video you can probably see the effort im puting into tuning it over just waiting for it to upload

thats sounds pretty nasty, id put some ATF down the bores

but for the price might as well whip the head off as you might have heavily scored pistons and stuck rings

try taking off the alternator belt off and take the plugs out to check if it cranks over by hand.
