Grande Punto My Grande Punto "Winston"

Introduction

Hello All,

I have been a member on the forum for a few months and been reading the site most days, I only passed my test in September 2011 and got my GP at the end of September 2011. Please take a look at my GP and please give me some ideas as to what mods I should undertake to next.

Please note I already plan to have the following done:-

1) Lower the back and front.
2) Install a K&N 57I Induction Kit (depending on the feedback I get from you guys.
3) Chrome upper and lower front grille.
4) X-one roof spoiler.

Any other mods anyone can think of that would make my GP look the best it can look would be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards
Stephen
Red drums.

Mess with the colour code! And it will make your car faster because its the same colour as a Ferrari

But seriously go for silver, I think it will match well

Quick Update

Managed to get the rear drums all cleaned down and painted today very happy with how they look now :D

I was contemplating doing the rear drums grey but I had some hammerite smooth in silver in my box of tricks so I though why go and buy more!

Hello All,

Not quite sure I am going to get anything done to the car this weekend as the weather is so fooked up lol this morning alone we have had bright sunshine, overcast, rain, a quick hailstone shower and now we have drizzle and winds, might have to give the car a miss this weekend lol

A few more pics of my GP from the beginning of the week :D

Cheers mate I have to say Wisey pretty much said the same.

Me and Reu were walking around the abarthisti stand at brooklands and there were so many abarth puntos with the spanners and i was walking around going...
'thats ****, thats ****, thats ****. Abarth ruined the punto with those spanners.(walking past essesse wheels) But that, that is nice'
Haha.
But on yours, they just make the car!

I agree with you mate and Reuuk and Andy Monty will tell you lol I was so worried they wouldnt work/look good on my GP but tbh they look more at home on my car with the chrome and colour scheme than I have seen elsewhere. It helps that I have had the caps colour coded also.

Little interior mod has been bought and is in the works also guys its really just finishing touches now tbh

I have had a long think about coils and the pros and cons and my final decision is that they are not for me. Having said that a set of H&R's might end up on Winston at some point.

I was hoping to get the new brows on the car today but the weather just hasnt let up at all.

I would just like to comment on the Conti's Sports Contact 5s and to be totally honest they are the best tyres I have ever had on my GP I know they are expensive guys but you really only get what you pay for and I strongly recommend these tyres all.

Regards
Stephen
