Just thought I'd post a short update on this so far. Let's see...
- Fiat UK have written and said they've spoken to the dealership (Thames Fiat, Slough) and been advised that the service manager is "attending to your concerns". Er no, he's doing nothing of the sort apart from fixing lots of faults so he can invoice the warranty company for himself. Also that they provide a 24 month manufacturers warranty.
- Fiat Finance have written basically saying the same thing (actually that's really the same thing as the letters were written with the same templates!) except they refer to a 3 year warranty.
So the short story is they've done nothing but listen to the dealers and they can't even get their stories straight on that bit. Thankfully our local trading standards office are now looking at it.
