multipla alternator belt

hi, hopefully this is in the right place, i have an old faithful 2002 model multipla jtd 110, never ever let me down, but recently the alternator belt came off, i bought a new one and after hours of fiddling and cursing i managed to get it on, problem is it now keeps coming off, i noticed that it sits nicely in all of the pulleys apart from the small one which is just behind the tensioner in turn making it slip off the tensioner, any kind hearted soul have any ideas please, thank you in advance

Is the seized or has excessive movement in it, is the tensioner free moving?

Genuine belt of cheap aftermarket one?
