What is the common cause of all the noise and vibration from the auxiliary belt tensioner? Recently changed mine and it quietened a bit, then one way clutch on the alternator is seized if it actually is one - does this make so much difference? The crankdamper looks ok and had been welded solid on the original engine and I can remember hearing any unusual noises, the car has recently had a new Luk clutch and DMF.

hello

i'm new here! I have a 2004 JTD MULTIPLA with a clutch peddal really hard. We had the clutch changed couple of eeks ago but since the mechanic is so far, we're trying to figure out if we can solve the problem at home.

I'm trying to find some clutch bleeding tutorial as a last try.... could you give me some tips? I cannot find the slave cylinder nor how to bleed the clutch or the cylinder.

Thanks in advance

Maria

Hi,

Others better than me on clutch but a hard pedal is not likely to be bleeding issue.

When it needs bleeding it is only biting low down and hard to change gear at all.
When cold sometimes cannot get first or reverse

Good luck
