Hi everyone
got the flashing mileage after a body control module change due to many switching and warning light problems. Everything on car now OK apart from flashing mileage. 2 questions
1. Will the flashing odometer cause MoT failure ?
2. Is there an independent or individual that can carry out proxi alignment near warrington/st helens ? Main Fiat dealer in St Helens incompoetent

Shouldn't have thought the flashing odometer would be an issue for MOT.
Gus at Alfatune in St Helen's might be able to do a proxi-alignment for you

It's my daughters car
She took it for an MOT and it failed due to the flashing and the lights showing up for the seatbelt and the airbags I've checked the codes. There's no TDC and the Bluetooth module is working. I have tried to take the negative for 10 minutes. Nothing has changed.
Flashing mileage should not make the car fail its MoT, it should only be an advisory. If you mean the airbag and seatbelt lights are you referring to them being dimly lit or flash dimly when indicating right?

No the seatbelt and airbag lights were fully lit up while the car is running

So I have a 09 plate 500 that I want to upgrade the Speedo.
My understanding is 2014 : early 2015 will work a treat?
Understand proxy as googled through hours n hours.
Question is as mine has blue & me will the cluster understand this as still have original stereo or is it something I will /can tell it has?
Not a deal breaker but I do want to keep all functions I already have if possible.
I've also just put on the petal abarth wheels which look stunning but will they have tpms sensors? If so can I tell the cluster this and utilise the upgrade? (Not essential but a thought)

Sensors aren't on the wheels, they are on the hubs I believe.
Upgrading the speedo . . . I assume you are talking about putting the TFT one in? You must get one from a 2015 car, not a facelift. The main reason for this is the facelift one doesn't have blue & me and you can't set the time and date as on the facelift cars this is done from the stereo. I've just installed one in a convertible and works perfectly. It will pick up the blue & me and you will be able to set the time and date. You will need to adjust the mileage using multiecuscan as long as the mileage on the new one is lower than your car, otherwise you will need specialist kit to do it (which I have). A proxy alignment will then be needed to stop the mileage flashing.
