General Multiecuscan Cable

Hi all,

I'm looking for an ELM327 USB interface compatible with MES. I've bought 2 cheap ones, both don't work. I also own a VAGCOM/KKL cable but that doesn't seem to be compatible with the 500. I also already own the yellow adapter cable to be able to talk to the CAN-BUS so I just need a functioning interface. Does anybody own an ELM327 USB interface they can confirm to be working with MES?

Yes, I have an OBD Protect interface which in fact is an elm 327. It binds with the computer by usb. I bought it at Electronic Fuchs in Germany, this is an official supplier listed on MES website. It binds with my twinair without problems, also with the part that needs the yellow adaptor.
It also worked with the Lancia Ypsilon of my wife, so I could relearn the remote key to the car.
