Technical Handbrake cable

I just pulled my handbrake on and either one or both cables snapped, the car is a 1.2 500 lounge 2016. Is the repair easy? Or is it a cheap repair at the garage? Thank you very much.

Hi cables are about £20 each side so £40 all in!, would imagine its about an hours labour at a small garage so £100/£120 pounds!.- cant imagine its to difficult a job for a competent home mechanic ! whats your garage skill level?.
If in doubt get it done professionally as dont want to start the job and get stuck halfway now do you!.

Note the cables are not equal lengths but are only 20mm different! Often they don't come with "star lock " washers which are needed, removing the drums could be quite an issue, not a problem for a good home diy person, otherwise go to an independent, get some recommendations? Replace both sides
