I agree. Something very magical and special about snow at night. Probably brought on as a kid as the textbook perfect christmas was expect the big fella on a snowy Christmas Eve.

My digital camera won't take a decent photo of the sky it doesn't like focusing with the flash turned off, but with the flash on it over-compensates and you get a nice big square of darkness. The sky looks really good when it snows in the city, with that strange orange glow from the streetlights.

Here's the least-blurred one, had to boost brightness and contrast a bit though:

trick to a good night image, long exposure time, keep the camera steady and use infinity instead of autofocus.
