I have just started using mozilla, my IE7 seemed very slow at loading images, so I gave mozilla a go, and it seems much quicker.

I want to know, how do I get it to display a "spare" tab like in IE7? one that I can click on and its ready to use, instead of having to right click and get a new tab that way

thanks

Just double click the bar where all the tabs appear, and it will open a new one

haha i have people like you at work.

we call them "fiddlers"

"my screen looks out of proportion today i didnt touch anything i swear"

99% of the time they were fiddling with settings:p

I know, I'm so sh*te with PCs
I've got an excuse... I've only done manual work since I left school, never worked in an office and I left school in '81, computers were still kind of exotic then.

Love that clicking the trackwheel thing...brilliant (y)

I have a theory about levels of computer user.
It can be broken down to 3 stages:
1. The fearful - new to computers and fearful to use it/try something new as they are worried abut breaking it (call people at stage 3, even to change ink cartridges etc).
2. Fiddlers - have been using computers a while so try clicking things but don't always understand what they are doing. Often break things but don't know how to fix it (call no 3 but don't admit what they doing. Would be simpler to fix if they just owned up).
3. Expert - fiddle but have acquired the background knowledge so know what that setting will change and how to recover it if things don't go to plan (do "homers" fixing problems for 1 and 2).

Just about everyone will fall into each category at some point!
