Currently reading:

I get no reading on pink & white but unsteady light blue, blue & black.
Can see any dry joints on the board.

Fault is in the unit then, follow the tracks and you'll find a relay check if the coil is being switched if it is you'll probably get something similar in maplin: http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/5a-12v-dc-dpdt-interface-relay-n31aw

If the coil isn't beingswitched you need to check the driver transistor think it may be a uln2003a if you can't find a discrete device.

I looked for a new unit and was quoted £240, seems a lot just for a dodgy indicator relay.
Is there anywhere that repair these units or any techwiz on this forum?
My electronic and soldering skills aren't the best

Get a secondhand one they're on ebay from £20 I don't think it needs coding.
