I accidentally started the car with a dead battery (it ran out overnight, you didn't know about it until you started it). Of course the car didn't start. After getting the battery, the car started and an engine error appeared, which disappeared after 1 hour of driving. But the fuel consumption increased from the original 8.3l/100 to 12.3/100. When the gear is engaged without the foot on the pedal, it shows 50l/100km. I tried disconnecting the battery and the problem with consumption still persists. Do you know what to do about it? Maybe through diagnostics?

Why did it "run out" ?

Did you leave the lights on or something ?

So you replaced or recharged the battery (in-situ) and it then started ok ?

The various computers on the vehicle do not like a slow gradual drop of voltage (as in "running out overnight").
A bit like running a PC during a power cut, it might still be on, but it's locked up or acting weird.

so I think you need to disconnect the (charged) battery, count to 10 , then just reconnect it as cleanly as you can..

You may well find all normal functionality is restored, let me know what happens.

The battery died because I left the light on in the trunk for 4 days. The car didn't drive for those 4 days. After 4 days I wanted to leave and the car wouldn't start because the battery was dead. Everything clicked when I turned the engine and nothing. I put the battery on the charger, after charging the battery the car started and the engine light came on. I disconnected the battery for 10 minutes, connected it and started it, the engine light didn't come on, but the fuel consumption increased. When I monitor the instantaneous consumption, it behaves completely the opposite way. When I let go of the gas pedal, the consumption goes up and stops at 50l/100km, when I add gas, the consumption drops smoothly to 4.5l/100.

everything reset when the battery was disconnected. the values started from zero. everything was fine before the battery was discharged

Doesn't it reset by disconnecting the battery? If not, how do I reset it, via the radio?
