General Mods worth doing to improve a Panda

no idea if it would be a straight swap the other way but doubt it

Guess it's possible if the wiring is there, might have a gander on Saturday! Although my past experience with this car shows that even if the wiring is there, it might not work!

One thing I want to try with the Panda is install the bigger, 2 bulb interior light used in some other models, electrical connector is the same, just need to track down it's mounting bracket to see if it will fit!

There's many different configurations of wiring. An 05 dynamic is completely different to a 06 active. Fuses, relays are all in different locations

When I've got the time I'll see if I can check the connector in the boot with a meter with the boot open, as you've said though, I doubt it'll work as I can't see any sensors or switches on mine telling the boot light to turn on (unless I've missed something) and when I was doing the sound deadening I didn't see any wires going into the lock. My boot light now is that pull cord light you can see in the last pic on the right

Electric mirrors using the Fiat 500 driver's door wiring loom and Panda mirror units. You will need to run wires to the passenger side mirror and will need to take brave pill to fit the switch to the driver's door card.

Door cards are cheap on eBay so get a spare to work on.

Very interested! Could you explain which each is..?
I am a new panda owner and some things I was imagining doing in the future was upgrading the sound system and sound proofing the car a bit. When going 120km+ the wind noise really gets in there.

Hmm... throwing money away there.

The battery does nothing whilst the car is running, and is simply charging.

The alternator provides all electrical power.

Even when your engine is off? Each to their own I think.
