Panda Model type of my panda??

Brought my second fiat car a few months ago but I am unsure of what model it is? It's a panda 2008 but seems to be slightly different from others I have seen, it's got alloy wheels, cigarette lighter, ac, remote locking and a larger cd player?? I'm not sure if these things have been added after or are standard?

It could be an Eleganza, or a Dynamic which someone had to optional alloy wheels fitted to.

Put the numberplate into an insurance price comparison website and it should tell you exactly what model it is.

Air-con or climate control (i.e. you can set the exact temperature you want...)?

Sounds like a top-spec Eleganza, like ours.

Post some photos -- inside and out -- then we can confirm!

And some of the outside which looks standard to me? i cant seem i find anything on the log book about the model of the car? not sure if the bumpers are different! one thing which i thought was a bit strange was that the logo on the alloys are the old style.. even though the type on the car is the new style..

logbook is down to the dealer / salesperson who fills in the form..,


dash looks like aircon.. climate tends to be all FLASH..!!

I'd say it's a Dynamic with the aircon pack. You got the side rubbing strips and roof bars with that. And optional extra alloy wheels.

Are the wing mirrors electrically adjustable?

Pretty standard Panda 1.2 Dynamic (and Eleganza) alloy wheels and probably came with the car from new.


Presumably you're worrying about advising the insurance of any 'modifications'. The car looks totally standard to me. Apart from the masking tape on the window switches........

Haha.... I just had my windows tinted, Think my front two passenger windows are too dark - haven't told my insurance about it yet! I'm bricking it! The tape of to stop me from using the windows in the next 24hrs. I was just curious of what was added to the car. Thinking of having a new sound system aswell..

I'd say that the wheels are a later addition since they have the blue centre caps. You can buy red ones so they match if you prefer. They're standard 14 inch wheels so they wouldn't be a concern as far as insurance is concerned.

The tints on the back are fine, they can be as dark as you want. The tints on the front are illegal, I'd get them removed ASAP if I was you.

Tinting the front side windows and windscreen is a big no-no, it'll fail an mot for sure and your very likely to get a tug from 5-0 at some point.

Tints aren't on a mot.. And I think it's just a bit too dark.. Doesn't look much at all to be honest! Haven't been pulled in 2 years and being a young driver I'm really surprised chance I'm willing to take! Just don't know what to say to my car insurance..
