Technical mk3 engine in a mk2?

Wondering, im pretty sure the mk3 1.2 8v engine will drop straight into a mk2 wont it?
Just put my engine mount on no problems?

2 engines were fitted in the mk3
the normal 8 valve
then the later 8 valve with the different rocker cover
i have an early mk2b with the later engine in
i suppose some of the plugs may be different so just get the engine loom with the motor

Yea wont worry about cam sesnor ones just swap rocker covers over and off i go
