I've recently bought a Punto GT and have noticed that (probably) many years ago it had a new tailgate fitted. Its been fitted perfectly - only all the wiring and washer piping from the roof has been taped and channeled outside the inner skin. Which leaves me with a mystery- how on earth do you get the wires to run through the tailgate? you can get a hand in where the wiper motor is but the rest is too tight. Any ideas how its done? does the rear glass have to removed?
