were ment to be persuading getting speaker pods now :p

just having them 8.7cm speakers will be **** tbh, no bass at all.

Larger speakers would be better, yes :)

Where do I get these speaker pods from, as a quick search for them brought up a nice price of £200 (n)

Will these pods be replacing the front, rear or both? Sorry guys I'm getting a little

ok, if you want speaker pods your have to find the a 90elx/85elx 5 door in a scrappy and get the door cards from it for speaker pods.

there front speaker pods, you just need front speakers which are 16.5cm/6.5" if you get the pods.

Well, I got some JBL's for the front, and some Fusion's for the rear and fitted them. Sounded fine, but now a week on from the install it's all gone tits up as it were....

Distortion central :bang:

What the hell could go wrong in a week?

if your after loud, then you ain't really gonna get much frequency range from the 3.5 and 4" speakers - your better off getting a sub (active if you want to save on space and effort) and then amping up the four corners. blows your budget though i've fitted a vibe sub and HU and was going to upgrade from the standard speakers until i reaslied that they were fine when you don't try and push all the freq's through them, plenty loud enough from the HU' 50w output and still have good clarity whilst listening to D&B etc.
