Styling MK1 Grill Mesh

I was thinking of maybe cutting out the plastic slats in the front bumper and putting red or black mesh in the gap, but wanna get peoples opinions on it first, so what do you think? :idea:

Also can somebody with photoshop, use the picture below and add the mesh? I would do it myself but PS is sooo slow on my computer lol

i think ya should buy a spare bumper try it on that first cuz if ya mess it up or ya dont like then ya aint messed ya own car up! but if it looks good and ya decide ya like it do it to yours then sell the other bumper to some1 else x x
