Is there anything I could use to get rid of the stains that have been caused by the sunlight on my punto bumper? I tried that black bumper spray but it washes away so easily.

Halfords sell a sort of spray paint/lacquer designed for permanently blacking plastic bumpers. Could be worth a shot, but prepping the bumper will be an arse as it'll have to come off the car and be very thoroughly cleaned before spraying.

I'll have to look out for that stuff now. Thanks for the help people.

Can you spraypaint the orginal bumper? I have one of those grey/black original ones. I would like it to have the same color as the car.

You can but it needs a lot of prep, i.e. clean and degrease to get any trace of back-to-nblack or other polishes off, then its got to be primed with a special plastic primer before you can paint it.

How much does the plastic primer cost and can you recommend any particular brands?
