Hello everyone!

I want to retrofit a height adjustable steering column into the 60S that I'm building for a family friend as his first car.

First of all I was wondering if doing this would allow the steering wheel to be adjusted higher than the fixed setting that I have now.

Second, I was wondering if I had to buy the surrounding trim to accommodate the swap.

Anyone done this and not posted about it?

you would have to fit the complete downshaft so you might as well get the cowlings at the same time

Why must the downshaft be included on the replacement? I've just ordered the column from eBay without one included!
