count me in, just moved from Yorkshire down this way last week (Newent is nearest little town to me for those that know the area) - be great to meet some local members as i only met a couple of people posting in this thread so far. May or may not bring the other half, its a bit early for her on a Sunday lol.

Never knew you'd come down this way what you planning on bringing with you 16v. Or turbo

lol, the sei turbo is still up north. I got my 16v cinq here atm and my alfa should be turning up today (it broke in true italian fashion right when i needed it, my father had a look - spat his dummy out and took it to a garage and its apparently now fixed, touch wood).

So all being well i should be in my cinq ;)

And looks like this won't just me me and a load of Grande's like most Yorkshire Italia meets were (y)

only 50% punto at the xmas meet.., :p

I'd love you to bring the Alfa.. 1st non-FIAT to attend.. ,
and IF it breaks..it'll cheer gadge up no-end

the alfa isn't working properly - my dad drove it down from york and it isn't right - so he's taken it back to york to the garage he took it too. One time i promise i will come in the alfa.

To be honest, as usual, i don't trust garages but having just spent a small fortune and them stressing to us that once we spend this hundreds of pounds it will work and we won't need to take it back and give them more money... i told him to take it back and they can fix it for free (we shall try our luck here).
Its had a new MAF, new MAP and new EGR fitted - all of which i did say won't fix it as i looked at them all before i left York. Its a weird issue i shall not go into great detail about here. But lets just say there is clearly nothing wrong mechanically, its something electrical IMO.

Frustrating, :(
lets hope they are as good as their word..,

still hope to see you Sunday., :)

Don't worry, I WILL be there.

Just realised today i not got my bucket or any of my car cleaning things here - should have got my dad to bring them - the cinq is probably gonna be extremely dirty. Keep passing petrol stations looking to see if they have a jetwash but so far only spotted car washes and my cars don't go through them!!!

Does that mean I have to polish the Little Black Car?
Who's going to a mid winter polish for Sunday then?

Saturday is meant to be dry in Malpas.... So I might get my new polisher out....

I'll bring the Punto round, then...! :D

Sadly, the only car that is spotless, at the moment, is Betty: and she's in storage, until the weather's better, with a dodgy carb.... :(

[For those younger than me: a carburettor is a device for confounding people who had got used to having computer-controlled injectors on their cars... -- and it's a very, very long time since I had the knowledge or patience to fiddle with them (a Mk1 Escort twin-carb set-up, in fact...).]
