my sisters pc from dell that was £299 has all the spec that has plus double the memory (512mb), so id say thats expensive.

Certainly not with a celeron chip.

My Toshiba p4, 512mb, dedicated Nvida graphics card (not shared with memory) was only £750 2 yrs ago.

As for the desktop, you could maybe spec a better one for just a tad more, that one comes with XP but only 256MB of RAM and XP will soak up nearly 128MB of that so you only really have 128 to play with plus the onboard graphics are crap and it will eat into the RAM also so not the best for games by any manner.

if you want a computer or laptop, ebuyer.com is pretty hard to beat, but watch out the prices fluctuate rapidly!!!! SO if you see something for peanuts fricking buy it!!!
