Bravo Matthewr1990's T-Jet Bravo Dynamic

Introduction

So after months of looking around, researching, test driving and even a little fight (don't ask). I have finally got myself a Bravo. And what a beauty she is. It's a (57 plate), Dynamic, T-jet 120.

Goodbye Megane. You horrible excuse of a car!

Now can someone point me in the direction of a new brain. Even the climate control confuses the hell out of me LMAO. Gonna need a really good read of the manual.

Anyway. The car has a full service history and only has 57,000 miles, it had got a broken glove box but the garage is sorting this for me. It's coming with 9 months mot, 6 months tax and warranty, it's just had new belt's, water pump, brakes and two front tyres. It's in beautiful shape with no dents although there is paint work damage on the rear bumper. It's not deep, they're just surface scratches and no dent so god knows what they hit or did lmao. But it's not severe and barely visible from a distance, so it will be sorted when and if I'm ready.

QUESTION: being as this is a 57 plate car. Will it be able to connect to my iPhone 5 with a software update and the right connector?

So anyway without further ado here she is. She will have a name in due time

Good looking interior

Considering it's 6 years old, the upholstery is immaculate

Beautiful colour

So what do you think?
Re: My new Bravo :D

Wow you sneaky Russian, you pictures of stages?
pretty simple really. Pull the cap that covers the bolt on the outside of the window wiper. Undo the 12mm bolt and the wiper pops off from the outside.
Open boot, remove two bolts on the inner trim handle. (Alan key) and pull trim away carefully.
Unclip the connector into the motor and drill through the 3 rivets CAREFULLY (really carefully. too much and you will go through the glass or body work) which can be seen here:

Pull entire motor out the way and pull robber grommet through the window. And you're left with a hole. Clean everything. Apply sealant to the inside of the grommet and inside of the window around the hole (black sealant). Push grommet into place and whilst holding it lean around the boot and wipe away excess that comes through the window. Once it is dry enough to let go (about 5 mins). I applied even more sealant that literally covers almost the whole of the outer edge of the grommet to absolutely make sure rain won't come through.

Wait until dry, replace boot trim, stand back and admire the sleek lines of the beautiful car.

Re: My new Bravo :D

Link me to that grommet please Matt, looks great! Did you buy from overseas?

Honestly, I'm not a massive fan of the rear spoiler, I've looked up close and it's sort of like an after thought piece of plastic "add on" stuck to the back of the boot. No offence sport owners, again just my opinion :)

Here you go buddy. It's all in German, but with a little hell from google translate I was able to make my order pretty easily. I bought the silicone in the pack. But it's just black silicone so if you have some lying around it could save you a few pennies

Dude just click the union jack in top right hand corner and it switches it to good old English

Re: My new Bravo :D

That dump valve sounds imense - How much was it all in all?

Can you hear it that well while driving with windows down?

Re: My new Bravo :D

About £17. It's not ridiculously loud. With windows down you do hear it though, view RobBravo 's build thread he tells you what you need to do it.

ive just got an air filter on mine and i get the dump valve sound and its loud enough to hear inside with windows up so would be interesting to see what difference it would make with that filter on aswell
