Bravo Matthewr1990's T-Jet Bravo Dynamic

Introduction

So after months of looking around, researching, test driving and even a little fight (don't ask). I have finally got myself a Bravo. And what a beauty she is. It's a (57 plate), Dynamic, T-jet 120.

Goodbye Megane. You horrible excuse of a car!

Now can someone point me in the direction of a new brain. Even the climate control confuses the hell out of me LMAO. Gonna need a really good read of the manual.

Anyway. The car has a full service history and only has 57,000 miles, it had got a broken glove box but the garage is sorting this for me. It's coming with 9 months mot, 6 months tax and warranty, it's just had new belt's, water pump, brakes and two front tyres. It's in beautiful shape with no dents although there is paint work damage on the rear bumper. It's not deep, they're just surface scratches and no dent so god knows what they hit or did lmao. But it's not severe and barely visible from a distance, so it will be sorted when and if I'm ready.

QUESTION: being as this is a 57 plate car. Will it be able to connect to my iPhone 5 with a software update and the right connector?

So anyway without further ado here she is. She will have a name in due time

Good looking interior

Considering it's 6 years old, the upholstery is immaculate

Beautiful colour

So what do you think?
Re: My new Bravo :D

nice :) a take it the dynamic is better than the active then lol coz mines is the 120 tjet active and its got cruise control front electric windows i have a sticker sayin ive got blue and me but i dont have blue and me haha and i do t have a cool box either lol

Re: My new Bravo :D

what is ur bravo matthew
Yours is a Sport buddy, the cruise control is an optional extra, and your blue and me is broken, believe me you have it, you have buttons on your steering wheel right? I'd get that looked at. If a bravo doesn't have blue and me it won't even have the logo. You should also have a little USB port under your radio that is behind a flap that has a Microsoft windows logo.
Yours may be an active sport actually which is the basic model bravo but with the sport alloys and styling.

Basically the models go:
Active: base model, doesn't have much. no Bluetooth, though all. Bravos come with Aircon.

Active sport: same as above except you have the sport pack which gives you a spoiler, side skirts, sport alloys and a few extras in the engine control including traction control and hill holder.

Sport: which has nice little chrome around the window, the sport pack as above, blue and me.

Dynamic: (theoretically the top model), all around electric windows, cruise control, arm rest back and front, blue and me, cooler box, duel climate control (allows you to have two different temperatures for the driver and passenger at the same time), lumbar support seats, leather steering wheel, alloys, chrome door handles in and out, and chrome around the windows and more

All of the models above have optional extras, so sometimes you can have an active model with blue and me as an extra for example. There are also optional extras that don't come standard on any model. Main examples are the panoramic sun roof which isn't standard on any model but is an optional extra, also the xenon kit which includes headlight washers and auto levelling, also the multimedia radio which has the screen and built in satnav

Erm yeh, that's a funny one, the chrome must be part of the sport pack. Although I'm positive yours should have traction control and hill holder, does it have a sport button on the dash? That arm rest is the cool box, if you pop your Aircon on and put something in there it will make it very cold.

theres no buttons for traction control or hill hold and where the sport button would be i have a steering wheel symbol and when i press it it says city on the dash

Yeh I have that as I don't have the sport pack. Mines is the "luxury" version so to speak. Sports models are for the looks. Yours is an active sport with optional extra armrest (which doubles as cool box).

Re: My new Bravo :D

So I've completed my mission, my HID's are fitted and they look fantastic. The main issue was getting the washer bottle neck back fitted as I pulled it out for easier access,

So here's a picture of one side done for comparison, (pictures will never do it justice)

Here's both of them

Here's how I cut the rubber cap, It says cut a hole in the middle and fit the self attached grommet within it but I didn't have the tools for this, and doing this would require pushing more cable into the headlamp and I found there isn't enough room. This should more than suffice though.

And my cable tie job to tidy all the cables up.

All in all it's very recommendable to anyone that not only want the HID looks, but those that use there car on dark roads, I would never put these HID's in a reflector lamp, but the projector like lamp in the Bravo is perfect, I've dipped the headlight beam down so that I don't blind oncoming traffic, I don't think it would anyway but in being extra courteous,

All in all a brilliant addition. (y)
