you could try geting same color vinyal to cover the wing if your not sure on the paint finish

the dent in my passenger door realy gets me down some times. so i just look at the other side

lol problem is when when i'm driving it i can see the silver bonnet lol

but in the coming weeks it is going to completely change

In all honesty, and given your obvious knowledge of the mechanics, I'd leave the outside well alone for now and concentrate on the engine.....

And when the engine is pushing out 100+ brake, I'd then get the suspension spot on.

Once done, I'd source a load of completely mismatched panels and some scabby steelies and strip out any interior that I didn't need.

And then I'd ride around looking for unsuspecting boy racers and give them a shock by leaving them for dead at the lights.......

But that's just my sense of humour......

When I get the Scudo mapped, I reckon it'll see off most stuff at the lights - even now it's pretty rapid off the line - and you can see the look of sheer embarrassment when folk realise they're being ragged off by a van! :slayer::slayer::slayer:

funny you should mention that i was actually thinking of changing all the panels and and then find a set of 14 inch steels but i dont think i could explain it to the dvla exactly what colour it was lol

but yeah your right i think i need to consentrate on getting the power plant swapped and played with a little

as for the suspension thats already sorted and i wont be changing it as its got apex springs and shocks alround and it handles sweet

does anyone have any free to a good home panels in any colour apart from yellow

i think you should pain the other wing silver,would make it look alot better.

well i have decided to try to match the wing yellow and the bonnet is going black and then black upto the crease black and going to get some yellow detailing done on the wheels

ok been a really hard weekend but think i am finally geting somewhere lol

been moving down to mansfield so as a result the mpi conversion is on hold till i know weather or not i get this job i am going for tomorrow as i maybe moving again down to norfolk but we shall see

dam i hate moving house lol

ok finally pulled my figure out of my a**e and set about work on the mighty cinqwell i decided i would have a look to see how to fit the wiring loom and while i had my back turned some thiefing pikey ran up and stole my 1108 block but left the head so todays mission is to throw the 1242mpi in and hopefully have it running by the end of tomorrow

although i do have a couple of small issues one being the fact that when i put the airbox on i cant shut the bonnet lol, annoying but not serious the other being that the fuel supply pipe needs a screw on connection and the original 1108 was jubee clip type:bang: oh well scrappy tomorrow for a pipe i can modify lol

way ahead of you lol grinder is coming out tomorrow and its going to look insane lol if i dont like it after a while i know where i can get a bonnet for £10 lol but i think i will like it lol

dont think i have done too bad 1108spi out and 1242mpi in and wired and plumbed up in 24hrs all i need is the fuel pipe tomorrow and hay presto 1.2mpi cinq lol :slayer::slayer:

oh and the exhaust needs modifying but that will get done at a later date, the 1108spi mani and downpipe will have todo for a week or so lol

oh yeah

POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok its in and its runing but need to swap the injectors out as its got 1.4 fiesta zetec injectors and it dont like full throttle starts lol (too much fuel)

will be swapping them tomorrow and also will be purchasing lower brace to fit as well as i think i have plenty of ground clearence lol

what do you guys think of the bonnet?

i might be making a sheet metal buldge to go over it yet not too sure,

i might as well write "pull me pigs" down the side of my car lol
