Hi all

Im having to sell my multipla to get some cash for new business, so I'll have to get a cheap run around again.
I've looked at some local ads for cheap marea estates... I quite fancy the look of the car!
Are there many issues with reliabilty with these cars.
I have always bought fiat some good some bad.
what can I expect with them?

thanks

martin

When I was looking not so long ago, I was told that there was nothing specific to look for with a Marea - just the usual car stuff.
I bought my 110 JTD Weekender for £650 and couldn't be happier.
I also like the look of it. Drives nice too ;)

Check for the usual "When was the cambelt done? etc".Suspension noise can be droplinks (Cheap to fix).Radius arm bushes on rear etc.If its a 20 Valve the cambelt costs a lot to do and the fuel consumption will be quite high if you cane it...which you will!...cos it sounds loverly!.

There is no service indicator,so its all down to you,no computer to tell you all the things IT thinks there are wrong..great!.

Parts are not to badly priced, and the cars drive nice.I personally, think its a better car than the later Stilo...will probably be eternally dammed for saying this :)
