many thanks to robin for supplying cups of coffee on a terribly wet start to the day i arrived at robin's about 9.45 and didn't leave till about 5.30 i was determind to get the parts i needed whatever the weather and at some points it was chucking it down but after various cut scrapes and bruises i managed to relieve the rat2 of the rear brake setup all complete on the rear swing arms and what a job that was to get them off.also helped remove a few other parts to help the rat look like this

and these are the parts removed from the rat

and so the rat2 still lives on in many other boo cars

robin is a very kind and caring boo member and very helpfull to those that go and visit him he has plenty of advise and knowledge to share out

good luck with breaking the rest and hope the new venture goes well

Thanks for the kind words Andy, as you can imagine it breaks my heart everytime i look at it but if it helps others then i am all for it, i am gutted it came to this but like andy says it is helping more cars stay on the road.

Also Andy you did a terrific job at getting the rear swing arms off good luck fitting them onto yours matey.

Well you never know there may be a propa rat on the drive soon in the shape of a marea saloon 20v but until i raise enough money to purchase said car i will keep breaking this.
