Two Essex men have been arrested after a camper was seriously injured when a car rolled down a hill into a tent.
Police were called at 0800 BST to a field near Writtle College, Lordship Road, Writtle, where people had been camping in a field overnight.
A man in his 20s suffered a serious but not life-threatening head injury caused by the car and was taken to hospital.
A man, 21, of Chelmsford and a 20-year-old man from Leigh were arrested and are to be questioned by police.
Anyone with any information about the incident, which happened on Saturday, is asked to call Essex Police.

A REVELLER suffered a broken neck and serious head injuries when he was hit by a car as he slept in a field after a college ball.
The victim, 27, is thought to have fallen asleep after the party, before the car rolled down a hill and hit him in the early hours of Saturday.
Police arrested and bailed two men, aged 21 and 20, after the incident near Writtle College, Chelmsford, Essex. Officers believe it may have been an accident.
The man, from Ongar, was taken to hospital where he is due to have surgery.
