:yum: i do like the Cobra's. I had a friend who had a Dax tojero Cobra replica over in Cyprus year's back. running the 5.3 jag running gear and moddified. Was very quick and great fun. Those were great drifting days:D

ISTTR (aka Martin to those of you who've met him!) used to have a Cobra . . .

Very nice too, but sadly before my time!

Wow, is this thread still live??!!

Hi LRB, how's the back and how's the IT contracting? Not good on the second count by the sounds of it :(

What a crap summer it's been for getting the top down . . .

Hey Gill,

Not too bad thanks - how's things with you?

Back is OK at the moment although I have found out the condition has got a lot worse :( not giving me too much trouble at the moment so I am ignoring it!!

Contracting was OK but has gone a little slow, tbh I am off to Portugal for a couple of days this weekend so have not been looking too hard in the last couple of weeks. Next week will be all gun's blazing to find the next contract!

nice cobra... but, you have to be careful when getting out of it... you can burn you ankle on exhaust... or not?

Did LRB stray off the straight & narrow the w/e does he need a scrub down with dettol or a detox? Remember :Virtue is its own punishment.;)

Well you lot, think of me this weekend while you are tucking into your Sunday dinners and sitting in the front room reading the Times!

I have ordered a new o/s drive shaft, new n/s CV boots, 2 x new read sway arm bushes so will be spending this Sunday fighting with rusty nuts, broken bolts and cracked plastic!!

Hopefully this will cure some of the more serious issues that have arisen in the past few months - if I change the drive shaft and CV and still have the 'orride noise from the drive train then I may have a difficult decision to make..............lets keep our fingers crossed eh? :)

You know you will enjoy it so don't try to make us feel sorry for you.
Hope it all goes well and it stays dry and not too cold. Let us know how you got on. :)

Guess you chose the wrong type of weather today, unless your snug in a garage. Best of luck with the rusty bolts. If you do your rear bush's Ok you can come and do mine, as the rear still has a knocking and changed both radius arms last week all to no avail, so bush's it must be unless anybody else has a clue what's wrong. What gets me is that it's worse in the wet.

M I A LRB Mystery Lingers

LRB is MIA lost in the Hinterland of Berkshire, could be wandering Baffled Bwildered & Bmused gazing at a functioning TVR or Z3 in far off Dealerships

He got out and got under sprayed his nuts poked a loose bush stroked his dodgy rubber on the knocking drive shaft grazed his knuckles then Poof !!!!!! MIA never seen again.

He'll not be wandering in B & Q or Homebase as he's allergic to decoratng. LRB headquarters must be frantic. Any sightings of a dribbling Man with a red stained polishing cloth please report. Has anyone looked in the Pub?
