General Lowest mileage Panda

General Lowest mileage Panda

I forgot I posted them there pictures a while back, saves me the trouble :D

It had less than 18K on the clock until recently, when three of the motors were suddenly off the road for various reasons, over a two week period.

It had an interesting trip to Machynlleth last week with four adults in it and never missed a beat, although fuel consumption increased to ~50mpg from the normal driver only ~61mpg.

There is a slight timing chain rattle but I'm getting a quote to get that sorted.

Brilliant little motor! :worship:

Some weeks ago I promised some pics of my 1988 1000S. So here they are :). The Panda now has just over 30,000 miles on the clock.

Spot on there Alan, its for an L plate!

No one has asked why both the photos are of the same side. Well that was the sunny side. The offside is probably better. The trouble is it is missing the 'Super' logo from the rear trim. I should go to the Fiat parts place in Wickford sometime - or does anyone know where I may be able to obtain a replacement?

mine hardly comes in sadly (60,172).. although i reckon we should have a highest milage per unit of time catagory... i've had my panda since sep 30th 2006 and have done 7000 miles since then! maybe thats why it is having a fit every five minutes!

I think Sylvia can top that. Since Aug last year Jim has covered over 11,000 miles in her. Most of that across America. :)

Well my 3rd Little panda I've recently brought is a 1993 Selecta and has covered only 15700 miles! Still origional tyres.

and as for maximum mileage in a set time, 15000 miles in 12 months is what I have done between beginning of sept 2006 to now (so 11 1/2 month auctually) and she's not skipped a beat, in my origional F-reg 750L! now reads 112500 on the clock.:slayer:

Our figures in Sylvia are (roughly)....

2200 miles in 7 days to germany

5500 miles in 16 days to africa

9800 miles in 6 weeks to San Francisco N' back

If she was a Fiat test car they'd of crushed it by now but it just keeps going but like your wee car she's allowed to have a fit every five minute too, lol!:D
