General lowering kit

hi people just wounded how much a full lowering kit would be for a fiat seicento sporting (2001 model) i want to lower it by 40 mm but i have a set of 15s on at the mo so arches will need to be roled!!! thanks for all ya help !

cheers gaz. does it make loads of different cos i remeber u sayin u had it done?? does it mean u have to have less weight it your car i.e less people. dont suppose u no n e one who is selling one. what did u do with yours m8???

i paid £215, my b-pillars started cracking and i blame it on the suspension kit, but many, many people have fitted suspension kits and it has not happened to them, but it was the only reason i could think of for mine to start going

you wont be able to get a full car loads with it lowered and 15's

it definetly handles a lot better and becomes a little bit more predictable round corners

mine went with the car, i cocked up putting it on, so once it was on it had to stay on

oh rite mate a see. but can u see a big difference , i mean like is it alot lower to the floor i no that sounds stupid cos its obviously 40mm lower but can u tell alot! how many people cud u get in your car with it on. me m8 had his lowered 60mm! which looked awesome as he also had 15s on but they scraped like mad. was sellin on ebay a while back, he had red bucket seats , tinted windows , abarth body kit. back box.... looked good was in yellow

I have got 15s on my sei had to roll the front arches and also had the trim some of the front arch liner!! mine is lowered 40mm but is more like a 50-60 drop

was was lowered more than the 30mm it said on the box

Just to say my lowering springs came today PI springs, 30-35 lower, dont know, but they goin on tonight cant wait.

cool m8 let us no how low it makes the car look even tho obviously i no how low it wil be hehe. u got a pic of ya car m8 sounds like u been doin alot to it. wish i cud do loads to mine i have custom skirts mind n alloys but im a skint student but i guess hopefully wen am older i wil get a decent job. how much the springs cost?

the spings may drop even more over time as they settle in. mine said 35-40mm and are more like 50-60 now lol

Got them off Dave from here new for about £70 which included delivery to N.I, i think thats good for PI, they nearer £100 new?
Ive got a side pic of it now, ill post it up then ill post one up in couple of days when springs settled best.
And hot new pics of my car be up soon wiggy, hope to be off to paintshop next week to get stuff sprayed and on
also alloys should be on soon too if i decide what i want!

cool m8 sounds good. how come off fast fiat it costs like 215 for the full set what did u get just the springs??? coll show us the car now then buddy!! 5 of me m8s are from northern ireland from uni they liev in anstram or summit like that

yeah, just springs, dont really need shocks unless u gona be doin some hardcore circuit drivin or equivilent, standard shocks should be able to cope with droips up to about 35!

Car now: (btw wiggy back bumper wrong colour, long story, will be fixed! )

lookn good m8 2 b honest i didnt even notice the bumper till u pointed it out hehe. how much the lights set u back?? where u get the spoiler cos im after one , was it from joy tunin?

Yeah joy tuning spoiler, fit is perfect, only thing is there be a bit of prep work to do on it before priming and paint etc because there lots of seems on it but once it done it look no different from 'genuine' abarth one, only cost about £45 which included delivery!
Lights were £80 which included delivery They nice with the blue imo so they stayin

one quick question m8 how much did it cost to get the spoiler spryed its a really good match!! im gettin one

Spoiler was sprayed with bumper, colour off and guy didnt smooth it down right so unsure of price, search about or ask anyone on here who may know of a bodyshop near you, live near you, and if they have any prices from work they've had done.
Ive no idea of price cause my new price is for all my parts, bumpers, spoiler, skirts, splitters etc so sorry wig
Depending on your colour also you may be able to spray it yourself, there several how to's for sprayin on forum

HOLY $**T, any1 who's not lowered do it right now!! lol

Car was slammed last night, was a go-kart before, now its more F1 category

Its down about 40 already and its not fully settled, you feel real close to ground driving now and cant help but take corners sweetly

Accelerating and decelerating causes no jurking now and not a hint of body corner roll

I'd say i'm well chuffed!
