Hello all just hoping some one can help me with a little problem im having,
Got a 52 reg Stilo and had a few problems since good Friday...
On good Friday got some seriously bad misfiring called the AA who cam and told me that the coil on cylinder 3 needs replacing not to bad job done..
Then week before last I was trying to accelerate to join a dual carriage way in 3rd to build up my speed from just below 30 but it just wouldn't give me any revs above 2k put it into 2nd and it revs high as expected for trying to give it that speed in 2nd thought that was a one off as nothing happened again for a week then while driving home from work engine fault comes up out comes Mr AA again they plug in computer all that showing ups a knock sensor fault and and this guy also advises that i should think about changing the spark plugs done and sorted taken to the garage to have the faults removed and had that done no more faults showing.
But now while im driving the carps perfect if im knocking about the doors anything below 30mph is fine revs fine pulls away fine but if i try speeding up from 30 any time the car will slowly build up its revs but very sluggish and then just seems to rev really high for the speed im doing but if i come to a hill i just cant maintain the power to pull up the hill at any speed and just slowly loose speed and power even if i drop down to a lower gear than required just to get some revs in it..

If any one has any suggestions what could cause this or have had the same issues them self?

Thanks
Ben

Thanks for the welcome but oh no for the answer
If its the clutch though would i not have more issues while im pulling away from a stand still rather than while im already moving and in gear?
How hard of a Job is doing a clutch on a Stilo? I had the displeasure of having to fork out for a new one on a Clio, but if i can catch it before it goes is it a swine of a job?? or worth the kick in the wallet to avoid doing it myself?

Cheers
