Technical Looking to buy a Front Subframe for Fiat Panda Cross

Hi, does anyone know of/ or have a front subframe that would fit a 2009 Fiat Panda Cross 4x4 ?

You could probably buy new on ebay. If you look carefully you'll likely find brand new for not much more expensive than second hand. I recently got a new subframe for a GP for £108, the seconds were about £75.

It's not listed in the klokkerholm, prasco, lm axles catalogues

Doesn't help it's not always called the same

Can find several used in Germany and Italy but postage will be a killer


Can the original not be welded ? Not ideal but has been done before, due to scarcity of parts

Do you know where the "Cross" FRONT subframe differs from the 2WD Pandas?

The bottom arms are the same as 2WD so it's fair to say the mounting points are the same. It should(?) be possible to get a 2WD subframe modified presumably to clear gearbox or some such.

I'm not saying this is "the best" way forward but it might be the only practical way when the correct part is not available. I can help with pictures if needed.

As per post 2

Part numbers 51882569/51857821 only fit the 4x4

Secondhand and new front cross frames for none 4x4 aren't difficult to find

But they say not suitable for the 4x4

Caster angles are different so I doubt the mounting positions are the same, but who knows
