You would think this would have been sorted by now. I put stainless ones on the bike last year - trial by combat. There is a paste I use for aluminium with stainless rivets , barium chromate. It stops corrosion dead. Wonder how it would work on this. At worst it would be like a weak threadlock.

Just one thought, any idea if it will have any effect on brake fluid if any comes onto contact with it?

That's one of the reasons I haven't tried it. Still you would think that this is small beer compared to a valve seat that handles a gazillion openings. Every time you go for a fluid change it's still a worry.
