Well, thanks to the very few people who actually offered some help with my erratic 1.4sx. To all the rest of you, well, hmmmmm....

Turns out the fault was very simple. My local fiat dealer replaced the ECU, four throttle bodys and wanted to clean my valves at a cost of £400!!! WHEN ALL THAT WAS WRONG WAS A BROKEN WIRE FROM THE LAMDA SENSOR TO THE ECU!!!!!

BLOODY IDIOTS! THESE PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO CALL THEMSELVES MECHANICS. THEY SHAME THEMSELVES. AND JUST IN CASE YOU ARE WONDERING WHERE, NEVER BUY A FIAT FROM THE MAIN DEALER IN BELFAST!!!!

Many thanks.

Idiots

Hi

We have the same kind of idiots in Malaysia.
Left the car with them and despite 2 weeks still they were unable to solve an aircon problem. Managed to get it solved in 1 day at an independant mechanic.

Con,
Have you every tried the Fiat Dealer is Lisburn, I can't remeber
the name but I have heard that they are good. My Bravo will be getting the 60,000 service soon, which is the cambelt change service, and I was thinking that they might be better than the main dealers in Belfast.
Do you have any ideas what they are like? Or can you recommend an independant one?

Cheers
Steve O.
