General key fob?

Afternoon all
As a few of u are aware I'm having a minor issue with my mylife, I took it to Fiat and the motobility lady Said ' have u been pressing the key fob for too long?' Lol, I just wondered wot this would do with a car that won't go past 60mph? Does anyone know?

get a mechanic to take it out with you on a test drive.
i've got a fiorino 08 plate that did that, straight after a service,would not go over sixty,but i suddenly burst into life on the way back to the garage!
They pluged it but no fault was found.......so if its doing it on the road test then thats something to go on........

Never heard so much guff...not since I had a megan a few years ago with a similar problem they said "hmmm could be to do with the car mats"

i'd agree with griffin...take it back and say it needs a test drive..if your STILL getting nowhere speak to motability, i've found them superb in the past with any issues

Hi Folks,
Just 'possible' that the motability lady was trying to make light of the situation. A slightly ironic comment, which could be taken either way.....

We had new flooring installed about a year ago, it soon developed a 'ridge' so we called into the shop where we purchased it to seek help, and with a perfectly straight face the salesman said, 'no worries sir, the warranty covers all faulty goods, and installation', just one thing, 'you haven't been walking on it have you?'........

Being a bit slow........for perhaps 10 seconds the 'joke' wasn't seen.

Hope you get all the problems sorted.

Morn lads ! As 4 mats my dad cut around the accelerator pedal wen he fitted them 4 me so it's well away from interfering with pedal ! She also said that there's no limp mode on the Qubo to stopping goin over 60 mph . It's at the garage as we speak , jus w8in 4 a reply to pick it up ... Mick
