General Key Code Card

The Radio Code Card is supplied with the car from the factory and is the grey folded card in 306maxi's picture.

We leave them in the owner's pack for the customer (to lose ) and record the radio code on the PDI sheet and under the vehicle details on our system for future reference.

TBH, unless you're swapping the radio from one car to another, it shouldn't lose it's code.

What about flat battery/battery removed?

I never said i was going to keep it in the car and i'm not that dumb .

I see it often & stealing codes & keys from houses is the only real way (beside towing) to steal a modern car...it happens believe me.

All i wanted was the radio code

The reason i asked for the key code card as i have previously stated is i was told the radio code was on the back....

I understand the radio code is stored in ROM memory of the computer thats how it knows what to check if you remove the radio/remove power from radio...
