Styling KC3 Project Silver

I know its not designed by pininfarina but i think the Badges do play homage to its name. with the sexy curves the B has, i dont think he would mind, Andreas Zappadides might but i couldnt have that on the sides.:D

Sorry for my "basic" english

How do you fit the BFGODRIGE on a barchetta with ABS?: it's written it's not for a barchetta without abs on the notice...

Regards

Hello and a warm welcome to the forum (y)

You and the rest of the French b owner's are more than welcome, also - any advice you can offer is always welcome! We have a guides/how to section (can be found on the menu at the top of the page), please feel free to contribute ;)

On my barchetta, I have:

Stainless steell Dtr exhaust twin pipes
manifold supersprint
sport Catalyst 220 cells (very low weight, better ground clearance and better torque and power) and sometimes I put for meeting a free flow catalyst in stainless
airbox BMC
Omp spring -3.5 cm
Eibach anti roll kit
Koni X4
leather
Colombo bariani road medio camshafts
ECU remap
Wheels "dial black ten" 17 inch
Black hard top
Battery on the chest

And a lot of others things inside and outside the car (Novitec)

Pictures next times

Bonjour Pascal, a very warm welcome to the site. Please do not apologise for your english as it is obviously far superior to my complete lack of french

It's nice to see a member of another Barchetta site visit, you are (as are any of your friends) welcome to join in anytime.

There are a few guides for the Barchetta section which you are more than welcome to add, you may even win a bt of whisky if you submitt one before the end of Aug ;)

If you look at our links page there is also information available world wide on the Barchetta which includes further guides and historical information.

Hi! Pascal, The goodridge hoses have the same connectors as the standard,
and i saw no reason why they would not fit and work correctly, I first questioned this myself as they only list for non ABS but I have installed mine with no problems and believe another member ( docorangepeel) has also fitted them with no problems either. A hose is a hose , steel braided can only be better. (y)

Ok, so I going to buy these steel braided hoses by "goodridge". Do you have any pbs to fit them on the barchetta?
Thank you

Hi Pascal, :)

No ! no problemo at all, just replace as you would the standard, remember to top up or replace with new brake fluid, i used a good quality 5.1 for mine .

Hope this helps and glad to see you joined the Forum(y)

Be great to see some pic's of your B, and curious about your cams, do they work well and what BHP are you pushing .

Hello,

I'm fine, thank you.

So I live in Bordeaux, country of wine and I can say that a lot of Englishmen live and have houses here. Some of them live definitely in France and put their childrens at French school. I think houses are not very expansive in France and life too. And it's very easier to come by plane (about 50 minutes) and not very expansive too. They work in England a few days by week, leave their wife and family in France and come back in France the rest of the week and the week end.

For my Bachetta, It's an old barchetta pack of 1995, I'm the first owner (buyed on may 1995 with ZAF 00000004302) but it looks as new!.... I've put roll bar too with my local Novitec dealer with the others mofifications.

For pictures, you will have to wait at the end of august 'cause I go on Holidays in two days... I go on a very italian French island : Corsica if you know...

SEE you

Sorry for my englih but I don't use a translator, I've just learn it at school !...

For the cams, Don't buy the "colombo bariani fast road max" it's very hard to drive with it on the road (it's for race only!....) but just the "fast road medio" with the small pulley.

For the new power, it's difficult to say because I 've a lot of others modifications as you can see, exhaust, airbox, camshafts, ECU and I've
Cylinder head motor modified too. About 170 bhp.

Thanks!

My B is just a couple of months newer than yours 0000007721 02/08/95

they say the first off the line were the best.

I was curious as i have simmilar set up as you on my silver B too, supersprint manifold, sports cat and rear box, gsr induction, uprated fuel pump, no head work or cams but remaped to 152BHP , planning to add the turbo taken from the other, that should make it more fun

It's "red dot racing" who have remapped your ECU ? they have only change the chip or remapped with the diagnosis connector? It's very very difficult on the Hitachi OBD I of the first barchetta....

Where do you have found your new fuel pump: do you have a link?

Thanks

I bought the pump next door to Red Dot, but i can tell you its a high performance WALBRO pump, around £90-100. makes a difference, especially if you add a fuel boost controler too.

Re red dot, they replaced chip and remapped ECU off of the car,

Do you remember or can your get the number of refence of the Walbro FUEL pump?

WALBRO FUEL PUMP GSS...?

It'll be interesting for barchetta owner's to know...

thanks

Hello:)

I believe it to be an in tank walbro 255. its good for 4-500bhp, and the same as a driftworks one.

There is one small modification needed to the bottom filter though, other than that its works really well.
