hmmmm i don't think so, if anything a loss in power but the other two don't sound familiar.

Its like if im in 2nd and accelerating to 30, it does get there but it might jerk once or twice. I can't tell how its really affecting the revs as i have the basic speedo

lol thanks for your help anyway,
I'll be more investigative 2moro morning and see if it does it and hopefully be able to give a more descriptive pattern of events!

I'm just trying to forsee any potential large bills heading my way

This sounds like the exact same problem I'm having at the moment.

I've replaced the plug leads (not the plugs as I did them only a few thousand miles ago, though I have a spare set to try) and cleaned the air intake system, sprayed half a tin of carb cleaner down the intake, all the usual tricks and it still does it.

I've plugged it in to my OBDII code reader and I get some strange codes, but they've been there for over a year! (and I can't get them to clear either, but the car's been running fine up til a week or so ago)

Haynes manual suggests either an air intake problem, plug/lead failure or fuel system failure. I've checked the first two, so I'm guessing it's an injector/injection system fault.

One thing, people have mentione the ICV. Where is it located? I know it's somewhere on the throttle body, but I can't find any reference to it in the Haynes manual.

Bloody car! And I need it to drive up to the Highlands of Scotland for a job interview on the 1st of July, and I have no money to fix it! grrr

So anyway, any ideas? :bang:
