Grande Punto just got my first fiat and having usb and blue and me problems

Hello, i have just brought a grande punto sporting 1.4 and i'm having trouble getting the bluetooth or the USB to work. i have tried plugging my mobile and a memory stick (formatted to fat32) but the car just wont recognize it. Also when I press the windows button nothing happens at all, the car must have bluetooth as my phone will recognize blue and me but wont pair.

I have tried disconnecting the negative terminal and leaving it for 10 mins but to no avail, just don't know where to go from here

If your phone recognises it then you must be halfway there..
