i got an inkling that mine is guna cost a shed load to maintain in the summer. I will be using the Sei to travel during a temporary management job. I will be covering about 1k a week for 2 months.

I might take the opportunity to buy a cheap Cinq Sporting and keep it as reserve incase the Sei messes up.

Blimey! Get a LPG conversion it will be worth it by the end... can you fit one in your car? I've just found out I might be able to get a grant to have one fitted so I may go for it... I only get 28mpg

what is the eligibility status for one?

The company I work for are providing it... but if your car is less than five years old and is on the register you can apply for a grant from powershift (or something like that!)

The cost of the conversion would normally be £2,068.00 but I will save (in personal mileage) about £1200 a year so it pays for itself in two years. That is working on an average of 12000 personal miles a year. If you are doing twice that then the conversion will payback in a year! Not bad. I am getting a 50% discount off the price through work so it will cost be £1,000. I think I may go for it!

I would consider it nut money and credit rating is a problem at the moment and will be tll my insurance costs go down and finance finishes on the Sei in Oct 2006.

£800 car.
£3.52 on a wheel cyliner
£9 on brake shoes.
£30 on a momo steering boss (already had the wheel)
£240 on tyres - 165/45/15's
£140 on spraying rubbing strips/grill/wheels.
£300 on wheels
£60 on springs
£10 on leds
£24 on a seat ibiza splitter.
£120 on spacers and longer wobble bolts.

I was only supposed to be buying her a cheap car
