yes but it done exactlly the same as it did when the overboost and egr valve went, that recent post doesnt sound anything like my symptons which is why i asked about the maff and having diconnected it after the car sitting for about haft an hour and nearly normal performance returning leads me to think its the maff.

MAF should be the very first thing to check.

If it makes a big difference then it may indeed be suspect.

Turns out its the overboost valve again, but its still under warrenty and hopefully it will be in tomorrow with some luck.

Just a update to this, The new overboost valve did arive at Huttons on new years eve and was fitted. Job sorted and thanks to Huttons for there speedy and very good service.
