Cant believe it !!!!!!!!!!! Got half day booked off with the wife to go and collect ......15 mins before leaving the office on Friday.....
Got this email -
Scott, I have been on the phone just now to autologic about the delivery of your car + others that should have been here this morning. They said the Drivers are no longer delivering to us today due to overtime into the bank holiday.

So now they’re saying Tuesday as its loaded onto the Truck but it’s still in Portbury.
Sorry for any inconvenience
You can imagine my reaction .....not happy......................................do these people not have calenders ????
Why would they ring me to tell me to come and collect something that clearly wasnt gonna be available............At this moment we r still up in the air as to when to collect ???
My wife told them in rather a sturn manner " do not contact me unless this vehicle is ready "

Still fuming.............Getting a new vehicle was an exciting experience .....hope this hasnt put the dampers on it ......will keep you posted ........................................................

Don't let this slip up dampen your enthusiasm. Fiat Australia made me jump through hoops to get this car. I put in my order in January and have just been told I can get my car next Tuesday... 500c Funk White, red canvas roof, red leather and ivory ambiance. There are only a handfull of Fiats on Sydney streets so this will be fun...

It's defiantly going to be worth the wait

motorvoque nothampton are a joke the amount of bad things that i have heard about them, had a friend that ordered an alpha from them and also added a lot of extras, car arrived months later with no extras... the amount of trouble people have had with them. i hope you get it to soon. would love to see pictures when you get it

Thanks All .....I have had Final Final Final .........Final confirmation it is sitting ready to be collected today at 4pm !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The sun being out and the temp has lifted our sprits ..........getting excited again ...............I really hope they dont F*** this up again..............to be continued...............;-)

Picked it up last night - we r both over the moon.....................!

Fun drive with roof down - Very impressed with handling - road noise - looks - build etc...........have only took two candid shots will get on here asap..........will take out one day and get some better ones

Smiling from ear to ear...........Wifes plenty happy too - which makes it a win win .....

Looks lovely it's so exciting when you first get to drive in it - and the good news is that it doesn't wear off! And hopefully this lovely weather will continue so you'll have lots of ops to go out and about with the roof down. I am still head over heels in love with my little Doris I was driving through a bit of a rough part of Bristol the other day (roof back) and a scary rasta man started walking toward me when I was stopped at lights. I was getting a bit worried, but he just lightly tapped the bonnet and said 'nice car lady' and then sauntered off

Believe me, it is fun. Being one of the very first 500 owners in Aus (melbourne guy here) you get heaps of attention because there aren't many at all on the roads. The amount of times people have talked to me out their windows and given me thumbs up and stuff is uncountable now. I got mine before start of 2009 where they stopped bringing the 500 into the country due to too much demand in europe. But when you get it, ill guarantee you'll enjoy it
