also whats the difrence between the 2 holes and 4?

You should change all 4 at once so the difference in hole count makes no difference anyway.

2 or 4 hole injector

Hi,
I have a 4-holed car, 1.6 Mod.03/98. Can I put 2-holed injectors if I change all 4 of them (I can't find enough 4-holed ones and I'm having trouble with the 1st one 5.5ohm)? I'm wondering, if the voltage is different between the 2- and 4-holed ones then couldn't it cause problems with the ECU geting crap feedback?

Why would there be a voltage difference between them? The number of holes has nothing to do with the electrical characteristics.

i think what she meant is thatthe faulted injector is only passing 5 ohms as oppposed to 13-15 ohms

James, those were the ones I used in my car, also a MkI 1.6. They've been working fine ever since, about 11K miles.

If I remember rightly the bloke did me a discount for ordering 4 so as Tom says probably worth doing all of them if you can spare the extra.
