That's harsh. Polecat has replied to each and every question you have had....

Why would fiat technicians want to do unpaid work on here?? There are a few despite that.
 
Most of the guys here are just Fiat fans like me......and not mechanics! I love this site and all questions I´ve asked have been answerd.....and everybody are most helpful in their own way!

We are mostly just enthusiasts on here, but that does not mean that the advice given is not useful. Some of our members are very experienced 'amateurs', e.g. 'fixit...' Pete.

On the professional side Bravo Kev is a mechanic and I believe FiatExpert either currently or previously works/worked for Fiat. Both of these members give excellent advice.

Personally I was an auto electrician in a former life before I started driving a desk.

At the end of the day most people on this site simply do their best to help, it may not always be perfect, but it's free.
 
As Polecat says, we're just enthusiasts and it's not an official arm of Fiat or any garage. The number of hits and regular visitors would suggest it isn't all that crap.

What was it you wanted to know?
 
i use the forum for advice and help, it hasnt failed me yet, i tell them whats up with my car, i get back many possible solutions, then i decide whether to attempt to fix it myself or pay someone to do it

i have learnt alot from this forum, i would of been shafted many a time by mechanics otherwise
 
I Think This Site very good and one of the largest. This is very simple to clear up, Just dont come back again. Problem solved.
 
hi just thought i would throw my opinion in on this :)

ok as others have mention we arent experts we help people the best we can - if we cant help then go to a garage :)

this site has helped me loads and the only people that call this site crap are those wishing to cause trouble (not saying you are but thats the norm)

as mentioned the site is free, those who wish to use it do so by thier own free will, you cant post such a comment without much to back it up, your one person out of hundreds on this site and 99% 0f the users are more than happy with the site or if the site fails them in some way posts ideas and suggestions - useful things like that :)

if you know of any fiat mechanic who wants to give up time and money to go through every post then by all means invite them on this site

end of the day we just do our best to help those that need it - if that isnt good enough then am sorry.

when i joined this site i was intimidated by a fan going (and changing fuse, ultimately changing fan though), and 1 year on i have now got a engine swap under my belt done completely by me (granted i did one with help from another member on here, however have now completed one all by myself) let alone all the other stuff i can now do, and this is solely thanks to this forum, not to mention the great social aspect that this forum seems to have, nowhere else that i'm aware of gives such a great mix of people (great people i might add :D) with a common interest, or is all that crap too? :D

i'm looking at an Audi TT next week so lets hope that runs a little better
probably keep the fiat tho so can fill it with ****e
